I've been to Chimney Rock Car Care multiple times now. Once for an oil change and another to get the plastic housing under the front of my car replaced. They can pretty much do everything for your car here. The lobby is well decorated with two TVs playing the news and another show. They offer free coffee and water to all customers which is really nice of them. The oil change was pretty straight forward. Had a coupon for $10 off that included a free tire rotation. Was a pretty sweet deal. I was in and out in 40 minutes. Replacing the plastic housing was a little bit more difficult. They first had to take a look under the car to see what all needed to be replaced and then call around to find prices for the parts that were needed which took 2 hours. I was waiting in the lobby the whole time and I still had to come back once they got the part. Overall this is a good location, there are a bunch of really cool people here. Things can be slow here and there but they do a great job.

I have gone to Chimney Rock twice now for oil changes and most recently, brake work. In reading the other reviews, I see the most recent negative ones have to do with tires. I only go to Discount Tire for tire work, so I can't speak to that. I am a big fan of Chris, who has handled my appointment requests, arranged for my transportation to my office and is the one who calls me with follow up and letting me know my SUV is completed. Billy at the desk is a bit slow in his work, but I found him to be pleasant enough. I'm not sure what it is about the place - maybe it's just that I feel comfortable there for some reason. I have a good attitude with them and I get that in return. The 2nd time I took my car in, Chris said he was able to get a discount on a couple of the Brake parts and it did save me $30 from their cost estimate. Now, whether that was true or not and maybe the estimate was just high, it didn't matter to me. They could have still charged me the original estimate and I would have been fine. But, they didn't and I took that as a "nicety". I'm not sure that I'll take my SUV there for all engine work or not, but it is convenient and they've earned my trust so far!

For all of your car needs, could not recommend Chimney Rock Car Care more. Huge advocate of this place. Family owned, honest and EXCELLENT customer service. Anything from an oil change to repairs, etc. Ask for Erin or Garrett. They will take great care of you.
