If you go more than twice (once they lured you completely so that you can blindly believe on them) then, they start to cheat on you by telling random problems in your car to get it fixed. I have terrible experience with them. On June 21, I went there (as a regular customer) to diagnose the car problem, but they said main issue was carbon cleaning, I believed on them (my weakness) and charged me ~$600. The more terrible things is, the mechanic took my car for test drive and hit with another car, I was expecting they are going to fix it themselves, but they said the car owner need to contact the insurance (to fix damages on front side) as like I had made an accident. Then I came back home but the main issue of my car was as it is. I went back to them to show it again then they said it is the starter problems (which had its own warranty). I was very dissatisfied and went to previous autoshop and got new starter changed under my warranty. Watsed my two days' work in my Job too. I contacted them through email and phone to return my money which they charged unnecessarily but they didn't reply at all. I couldn't go to visit them into the autoshop to talk about the issue because I didn't feel safe to go there. I filed a case to my credit card bureau, which is under process yet to get my money back. One of the bad experiences of my life in Houston.
Rishi, We are sorry to hear you were not pleased with the service you received. We value all customers and always strive to provide honest and quality auto repair services. When you originally came in, you stated the vehicle jerked at start up. We verified the idle dropped after the vehicle started for a second and then returned to normal. We removed the intake boot and found excessive carbon build up on the throttle body which is common based on the age of the vehicle. We recommended starting with a 3 step carbon clean to remove the carbon deposits from the throttle body, intake, and fuel system. We performed an idle relearn after the cleaning and the idle was not dropping anymore after the repairs were completed. All of which were discussed and approved prior to service. You returned after lunch stating you heard a noise when starting the vehicle, a separate issue from the vehicle jerking at startup. Our technician found that the starter was grinding causing the noise. You had a warranty for the starter at another shop so you took it back for warranty. During the first test drive, our technician was at a light when the vehicle in front of him reversed his vehicle into your vehicle. Our technician pulled over, took pictures of the damage, and received the perpetrators license and insurance. We attempted to file a claim on their insurance but since we were not the registered owner of the vehicle we were not allowed to. We gave all of this information to you. We also let you know that once you started the claim, we would take care of everything else for you. We would handle the estimating with the insurance and take it to the body shop for the minor repairs it needed. Please know that we did our best to help you in this unfortunate situation. We are sorry that you are upset. The complaint you submitted to your bank was closed in our favor because we presented that we emailed you back every time you sent us an email, and we performed the work that you authorized.
